He is survived by: his children, Elliott Blackwell (Danelle) of Gastonia, NC and Kristen Amidi (Amir) of Gastonia, NC; his grandchildren, Christian Amidi, Abby Amidi, Bethany Amidi, Benjamin Blackwell (Haeun Chung) and Cava Blackwell; his brother Landy Blackwell; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Church of God in Charlotte, North Carolina.
