He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Merrion Harwell, Sr. and Helen Blandina Lowry Harwell; and his brother Roy Merrion Harwell, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Bryson Harwell; his children, Robby Harwell (Amy) and Beth Watts (James); his grandchildren, Alex, Ryan, Jamie, Jay, Jake and Wyatt; his great grandchildren, Ryker and Norah Jean; and his sister Betty Hodge. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
