In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Robin had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Robin may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She is survived by: her parents, Robert Lee McDonald and Carol Splawn McDonald; her daughter Cameron McDonald (Jordan Biggerstaff); her sister Laura McDonald Walton (Pressley Rudisill); her nephews, Dustin (Jenny Gibson) and Logan Walton; and her stepdaughters, Kelly Rhyne and Tracy Rhyne Waters (Gene). She is also survived by three step grand-children and several step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors Founders Chapel (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
