It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald MacPhail Millar (Gastonia, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allister Millar and Mildred Keener Millar. He is survived by: his wife Julie; his daughters, Meredith Millar Weksler (Matthew) and Shannon Millar Mejia (David); his granddaughters, Rosa and Ruby Mejia; his siblings-in-law, Donna Crawford and Steve Crawford (Margo); his sibling's children, Will Styers, Julie Shook (Michael) and Daniel Syters; and his close friend Andrew Asnip.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crowders Creek Arp Church (207 Crowders Creek Church Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crowders Creek ARP Church to honor Ron's enduring faith and service.
