She was predeceased by: her parents, A. C. Peeler and Lona Tucker Peeler; her husband Charles William May; her daughter Audra Dawn May; her granddaughter Destini May; and her sisters, Jenny Shelp, Velma Brock and Clara Peeler.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Odell May, Pete May and Brian May; her sisters, Mary Long, Doris Singleton and Jean Kennedy; and her grandchildren, Justin May, Brandy May, Josh Hayes, Joy Ann May, Christy Thompson and Kimberly Love. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
