She was predeceased by: her parents, Plato Towery and Minnie Taylor Towery; her husband Coy Beam; her daughter Judy Weaver (Ed); and her siblings, Bill Towery, Coyte Towery, Lorene "Teen" Morrison, Edna Cook, Betty Dean King and Alice Reynolds.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Willis (Busie), Scott Gantt (Bobbie) of Cherryville, Rodney Beam (Laura) of Cherryville and Jimmy Sisk (Kathy) of West Virginia; and her brother Richard Towery of Hickory. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
