Though Stephen William may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pat Ford and Bob Ford. He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen Skeen of Gastonia, NC; his sons, Stephen "Steve" William Skeen, Jr. (Ronda) of Cairo, GA and Matt Skeen (Amanda) of Gastonia; his brother Kerry Skeen (Kathleen) of Washington State; his granddaughters, Caroline and Sullivan Skeen; and his nephew Casey Skeen (Erica) of Washington State.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or to St. Jude.
