He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Robinson; and his sisters, Carol Pearson and Patricia Penley. He is survived by: his wife Mary Robinson; his daughter Kim Robinson Jewell; his stepdaughter Carol Stephenson; his stepgrandchildren, Clinton Stephenson and Bella Stephenson; his siblings, Jerry Robinson (Eleanor) of Charlotte, Danny Robinson (Kathy) of Clover, Sharon Lawson (Tommy) of Shelby and Teresa Purkey (Jon) of Gastonia; and his brothers-in-law, Don Pearson of Belmont and Scott Penley of Hickory Grove, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fairview Baptist Church (1706 W Davidson Ave, Gastonia, NC 28052). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
