It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wade Huss Sr. of Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Webb Hunter Huss and Harriet Temple Huss; and his siblings, Jane Benbow and Hunter Huss, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his children, Page Curlee (Keith), Will Huss (Missy) and Elizabeth Clement (Justin); his grandchildren, Milly Curlee-Gutierrez (Brian), Wade Curlee (Mary Gates), Webb Huss, Hunter Curlee (Deidre), Campbell Norman (Sawyer), Levi Curlee, Branton Huss, John Huss Clement, Gardner Clement, Maggie Huss and Eliza Jane Clement; his great grandchildren, Elias Curlee and Guillermo Curlee-Gutierrez; and his sister Alice Bost. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Gaston Memorial Park (1200 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the First Arp Church (317 S Chester St, Gastonia, NC 28052). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In place of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Deacon Fund at First ARP Church in Gastonia.
