He was predeceased by: his parents, William Neff Sr. and Virgina Hoyle Neff; and his brother Joe Neff. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Neff of Gastonia; his daughters, Elinda of Beaumont, Alaine of Tennessee and Julie of Vidor, Texas; his stepdaughters, Sonja Jobes of Gastonia, Laura Bates of Gastonia and Julie Penley of Asheville; and his siblings, Barbara Maddox, Tom Neff and Jerry Neff. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
