He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Preyer and Lila Dover Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Howe Roberts; his children, William F. "Frank" Roberts, Jr. (Dawn) of Spartanburg, SC, James Clarke Roberts (Karen) of Richmond, VA, John Noell Roberts (Abbie) of Lexington, NC and Lila Roberts Tolbert (Chris) of Gastonia, NC; his grandchildren, James Martin Roberts and Kaylin Marie Roberts (Dylan); and his daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Tolbert, Emma Caroline Roberts and Kathryn James Roberts. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (1621 E Garrison Blvd, Gastonia, NC 28054). Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
