It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Richard Pritchard Jr. (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. As William Richard departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved William Richard. Though William Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pritchard and Margaret Selby Pritchard. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Kathryn and Kyle (Tiffany); his grandchildren, William and Margaret; his friend Jerry Taylor; and his brothers, Herman and Tom.
In lieu of a funeral service, Dick requests that contributions be made to the local foodbank.
