It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Smith Jr. (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Smith Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Scott Smith, Sr. and Helen Jones Smith; his wife Marlean W. Smith; his sons, Chris (Kelley Smith) and David (Sumer Smith); his grandchildren, Kobi Smith (Sheila Moore), Carter Smith (Chris Dean), Jackson Smith and Isabella Smith; his great grandchild Remy Dean; and his sister Margaret Stamper. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
