It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Dewitt Carpenter (Gates, North Carolina), who passed away on April 6, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Carpenter and Maggie McCoy Carpenter. He is survived by: his children, Valerie Patterson (Martin) of Jamaica, NY and Carl Carpenter (Ronica) of East Elmhurst, NY. He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
