He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Boone; his children, James Boone, Jr. of Gates, NC, Brian Parker of Gates, NC, Brandon Mouton of Houston, TX and LaShonda Boone of Gates, NC; and his siblings, Lorenzo Boone of Franklin, VA, Ruth of Washington, Vanessa Boone of Gates, NC and Sharon Boone of Gates, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren, (1) great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
