It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Odessa Lightfoot Rascoe (Gates, North Carolina), who passed away on October 6, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John Lightfoot. She is survived by: her children, Marion Harvey (William) of Gatesville, NC, Vivian Roscoe of Charlotte, NC, William Rascoe, Sr. (Clarice) of Gatesville, NC, Eugene Rascoe (Linda) of Edenton, NC and Lindberg Rascoe of Gatesville, NC; and her sister Shirley Eason of Hertford, NC. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great- great- grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
