He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Clark Aston; his parents, Lee Andrew Aston and Gercia Twiford Aston; and his siblings, Norma Brown, Lee Aston, Jr., Towe Twiford Aston, Benjamin Aston and Donald Aston.
He is survived by: his children, Carla Ann and Carl Aston, Jr.; and his stepdaughters, Judy Harrell (Dennis), Trish Jones (John) and Nancy Hedgepeth (Larry). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Pentecostal Holiness Church, Edenton, NC.
