We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2023, at the age of 69, Garland Lee Cherry of Gatesville, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Garland Lee Cherry to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Mack G. Cherry, Jr. and Mollie Jane Butts. He is survived by : his wife Lisa Dodson Cherry; his children, Brandon Franks (Jennifer) and Jenna Cherry-Umphlett (Matthew); his stepson Christopher Wilson; his grandchildren, Christian, Gavin, Brynlee and Rayleigh; and his siblings, Brenda, Gilbert, Carlton "Peanut" and Joyce. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the EDMAC Hospice House for Children, edmarc.org or 516 London St., Portsmouth, VA.
