He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard B. Lowe and Dora Piland Lowe; his wife Myrna Johnson Lowe; his son Alan W. Lowe; and his sister Nancy Wilkins.

He is survived by : his sons, Richard L. Lowe (Annette) and H. Randolph Lowe, Jr. (Beth); his daughter-in-law Sherl Lowe; his siblings, Lois Hatfield, Doris Umphlett, Alice Perry and Alton Lowe; his grandchildren, Crystal Ashley (Grant), Matt Lowe (Stephani), Brittney Stevens (Alex), Hunt Lowe (Lauren), Kyle Lowe and Katelyn Lowe; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey Ashley, McKinley Stevens, Easton Lowe and Luke Lowe.
