She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Quincey McBride and Pearl Brown McBride; her husband Gerald Harding White; and her siblings, Ruby Warren, Rosalie Rash, Velna Johnson, Elizabeth Bowers and Elmer Quincey McBride.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Donalee), Kenneth (Jovelyn) and Kevin White (Michelle); and her grandchildren, Justin White (Margaret), Charles White and Diana White. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Germanton Baptist Church.
