He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest David Stewart and Betty Ring Stewart; his wife Paula Stewart (Chi Ku); his stepmother Jacqueline G. Stewart; and his sister Jackie Sue Greene.

He is survived by: his siblings, Scotty E. Stewart, Denny F. Stewart (Marlene), Michael B. Stewart, Robin S. Ayers (Arvin) and Angela D. Stewart; and his close friends, Fred White, Ben Webb, Tootie, Linda Fearrington, Wayne Pope and Chris Mitchell.
