He was predeceased by : his father Leroy Smith, Sr.; his daughter Dawn Smith; and his brother Leroy Smith, Jr. (During). He is survived by : his wife Donna Smith; his brother W. D. Smith; his grandson Rudger Norfolk (Christy); and his great grandchild Emery Norfolk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
