She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert O. Hunter and Esther Speer Hunter; her husband Lawrence Banner; and her granddaughter Christin Banner. She is survived by: her sons, David M. Banner (Jane) and Timothy Banner (Leslie Reeves) of Germanton; her daughter-in-law Cheri Wilson Banner of Tobaccoville; her grandsons, Ross and Gray Banner; her great grandchild Camdyn Reese Wilson; and her sister Rebecca Hunter of Albuquerque.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorials be made to Germanton Baptist Church, 6810 Germanton Road, Germanton, NC 27019.
