It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carole Milton O'Neil in Gibson, North Carolina, born in Tallahassee, Florida, who passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Herbert Clifton Milton; her former life partner William T. O'Neil; and her son James Elliott O'Neil. She is survived by : her sisters, Sandy M. Kimbrough of California and Linda M. Jellen (Larry) of Hawaii; her son William T. O'Neil, Jr. (Mara); her grandchildren, Avery, Ella and Thomas O'Neil of Reidsville, NC; and her friend B. G. Ritts of Reidsville. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be sent to Woodmont United Methodist Church, 1926 Richardson Dr., Reidsville, NC 27320 for meals for the hungry or to Hospice of Rockingham County, P.O. Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375 for uninsured/underinsured patient care.
