He is survived by: his children, Anne Odom Hammonds (Jim) of Seven Lakes and Charles Franklin "Frank" Odom Jr. (Kittie) of Asheboro; his siblings, D. Nelson Odom (Judy) of Fort Mill, SC and Sara O. Lassiter (Jim) of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Samuel "Sam" Hammonds (Brooke) of Raleigh, Page Odom Davis (Nathan) of Asheboro, Zachary "Zac" Hammonds of Painesville, OH and Shelby Odom Kiser (Bradley) of Asheboro; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn Davis, Aiden Davis, Easton Davis, Harper Hammonds, Hayden Hammonds and Kent Kiser. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephew.
