He was predeceased by : his father James "Jimmy" Elmo Wyland; and his brother Timothy "Timmy" Leland Wyland. He is survived by : his mother Letha Bell Brigman Wyland of Laurinburg; his wife Marsha Bagley Wyland; his children, Danny James Wyland, Jr. (Megan) of Laurel Hill, Derrick Ryan Wyland (Savannah) of Laurinburg, Tara Ann Bryant (Ray) of Gibson and Briana Marie Oxendine (Phillip) of Lumberton; his siblings, Gary Wayne Wyland of Laurinburg and Vicki Purcell (Dave) of Illinois; his grandchildren, Taylor, Seirra, Savannah, Hannah, Calum, Haley, Blaze, Kylee, Landon, Macee, Thomas, Riley, Karissa, Callie, Tucker, Jax, Ansleigh and Kyelle; and his great grandchildren, Preston, Alexandria, Alana, Maylee, Reid, Cashton, Malayah and Brianna. He is also survived by loving extended family and many friends.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel (13640 Andrew Jackson Hwy, Laurinburg, NC 28352).
