Marie Bowman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 26, 2025, at the age of 84, Marie Bowman in Gibson, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie Bowman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hardin Hooker and Myrtle Grogan Hooker; her husband James Henry Bowman; her daughter Teressa B. Collins; and her siblings, Bobby Hooker, Patricia Bullins and Mary Mozelle Hooker.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Caleb Collins and Cason Collins; her stepdaughter Debbie Davis; her son-in-law Walter "Wally" Collins; her siblings, William Hooker (Barbara), Cecil Hooker, Steve Hooker (Natalie), Cathy Craddock (Cliff) and Becky Grant (Tommy); and her friends, Betty Johnson and Billy Moorefield.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (127 Ellisboro Rd, Madison, NC 27025). A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mayodan Municipal Cemetery (600 S 5th Ave, Mayodan, NC 27027).
