He was predeceased by : his parents, Donnie Junior DeBerry and Elgie Gretta Davis DeBerry; his brothers, Donnie B. DeBerry (Crystal) of Rockingham, Bill James DeBerry (Joyce) of Lincolnton, NC and Stevie DeBerry (Marie) of Rockingham; his sons, Lynn and Jeff; and his siblings, Catherine Fountaine, Virginia Davis and Jerry DeBerry (Zake DeBerry).
He is survived by : his wife Catherine Chavis DeBerry; his sons, Shane DeBerry (Niki) of Gibson, Paul DeBerry of Hamlet and Wayne DeBerry of Hamlet; his stepson Rodney Chavis (Chris); his grandchildren, Brittany Simmons (Jesse), Brystal DeBerry, Cory DeBerry, Drew DeBerry and Harper DeBerry; his great grandchildren, Trevor, Trent and Madison Bullard; his sisters, Cherry Ann Raines (Gary) of Rockingham and Elaine Goins of Tampa, FL; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Fountaine and Darrell Davis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
