He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Luther Summers, Sr. and Alma Kate Apple Summers; and his siblings, Alma Kathleen Summers, Virginia Ann Summers Payne, Robert Luther Summers, Jr., Clarence Ervin Summers, Raymond Thomas Summers and William Virgil Summers.
He is survived by: his wife Celia Grey May Summers; his children, Tamera Kae Casey (Tom) of Reston, VA and Lynn Donovan Summers of Roswell, GA; and his grandson Michael Reilly Casey.
