With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joel Christian Millikin of Gibsonville, North Carolina, born in Asheville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 7, 2025 at the age of 51. He was predeceased by: his father Bryan Watson Millikin; his stepfather Joe A. Tickle; and his grandparents, Mary Jane Bacon, Lester Paul Reed, Bob Millikin and Molly Millikin.
He is survived by: his mother Sandy Millikin; his stepmother Jeannie Millikin; his children, Marissa Millikin and Connor Sweger; his sister Shannon Hardy; his half-siblings, Patrick Millikin, Matthew Millikin and Erin Millikin; his niece Stephanie Hardy; his nephew Justin Hardy; his great-nieces, Kristiana and Peyton; and his aunts, Sally Mirocke of Florida and Suzanne Bacon of Las Vegas.
