She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Tickle and Hazel Tickle; her husband Clarence "Pop" Owen, Sr.; and her siblings, William Howard Tickle, Jr. (Linda), Bobby Tickle (Linda), Betty Haithcock and Edna Haithcock (Basil).

She is survived by: her children, Alvin Owen (Sheri) and Kathy Somers (Bryan); her grandchildren, Jason Owen, Mitzi Gunn (Jamie) and Gary Owen (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Edwin Gunn, Wesley Gunn, Caleb Owen, Jessalynn Owen, Avery Owen, Hanna Thompson, Jordann Thompson, Justin Thompson and Trinity Drewery; her great great grandchildren, Lacey Gunn and Logan Drewery; her siblings, Janie Bennett and Tommy Tickle (Janice); and her sisters-in-law, Polly Hart, Delia Owen and Becky Owen.
