Charlie D Stewart Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2025, at the age of 65, Charlie D Stewart of Godwin, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Jeffrey and Calypso Hobbs Stewart; and his brothers, R. J. Stewart, Rev. James Stewart, Howard "Tint" Stewart, Frankie Stewart, Rev. Jeff Stewart and Tommy Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Faircloth Stewart; his son Daniel Stewart (Julie); his granddaughter Lola of Raleigh; his daughter Anna Stewart of Greensboro; his brother Rev. Anthony Stewart (Kim); and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Stewart, Iris Stewart, Brenda Stewart, Margaret Stewart, Jan Stewart and Mary Anna Stewart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Blood Cancer United in Charlie's memory to support continued research and hope for others facing this disease.
