He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert McPhail and Margaret Smith McPhail; and his brother James Douglas McPhail. He is survived by: his wife Rita McPhail; his daughters, Toni Russ (Lee) and Amy Jannetta (Ernest); and his grandchildren, Marisa Jannetta and Haiden Jannetta. He is also survived by his extended family and close friends.
