He is survived by: his wife Susan Carlisle; his son Nicholas Carlisle (Daniel Kesler); his grandchildren, Craig Carlisle and Raylee Kesler; his siblings, Mary Dunaway, Glenn Dunaway and Mike Carlisle (Glenda); and his niece Marsha Rinehart.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Country Baptist Church; Trellis Supportive Care; or the Rowan County Animal Shelter.
