She was predeceased by: her father William Henry Medlin; her husband James Melvin Sauls; and her son James Timothy Sauls. She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Jo Sawyer (John) of Mebane and Mary Louise Lewis of Clayton; and her grandchildren, Kari DeWitt, Jeremy DeWitt (Keron), Ryan Fields (Hope), Timothy Sauls Jr., Kevin Sauls and Anna Lewis. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
