He is survived by: his wife Susan Hardy; his daughters, Melanie Thompson (Barry) and Eva Jones (Patrick); his stepchildren, April Pigford (Jay) and John Murray (Leslee); and his stepson-in-law Joby Iglesias. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
