Albert leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Albert’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Albert will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his mother Minnie Mae Parks Elmore; and his siblings, Dorothy Boyette, Bobbie Boyce, Jerry Elmore and Dickie Elmore.
He is survived by: his father Walter W. "Pete" Elmore; his wife Elaine M. Elmore; his son Walter M. "Mac" Elmore of Goldsboro; and his sister Ann E. Gurley of Pikeville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Seymour Funeral Home (1300 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Albert's memory to The Salvation Army, 610 N. William Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
