She was predeceased by: her parents, George Parker Ball and Mary Elizabeth Evans Ball; her husband Johnnie W. Burnette; her son Johnnie W. Burnette, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Marilyn Parrish Burnette; and her siblings, Foster Ball, Martha Smith, Lucy Murray, Nora Tusinski-Hopewell and Donia Lackey.
She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Parker Burnette and Lori B. Barnes; her grandchildren, Stephen Burnette (Andrea), Timothy Burnette (Christa), Teresia Burnette Castenda (Kyle), Tiffany Barnes Denning (Trey) and Priscilla Barnes Broadway (Josh); and her friend Tim Barnes. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
