She was predeceased by: her parents, Anne Simkins Mixon and Henry Walton Mixon, Jr.; her husband Gerald Blaxton Daughtry; and her brother Henry Walton Mixon Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Kay Daughtry of Goldsboro, Peggy Daughtry of Wilmington and Carol Daughtry Bynum (Arch Bynum, Jr.) of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Bynum, Darden Bynum III and Helen-Anne Bynum; her sister-in-law Rhonda Mixon (McDaniel); her nephews, Todd Minard (Alma) and David Mixon (Michele); her niece Kimberly Rolfe (Todd); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Gabriela Minard, Christopher Rolfe, Joshua Rolfe, Samuel Rolfe, Matthew Rolfe, Devin Mixon and David Mixon.
