She is survived by: her husband James Sanders of Raleigh, NC; her children, Christine Sanders of Oregon, Susan Joy Sanders of Goldsboro, NC, Thomas Sanders of Raleigh, NC, Anthony Sanders of Raleigh, NC, Emmanuel Sanders (Tewanna) of Raleigh, NC and Christopher Sanders (Tiffany) of Atlanta, GA; and her sisters, Minnie Bryd of Cary and Fannie Hargrove of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity United Faith Center Church (110 S State St, Raleigh, NC 27601).
