He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio R. Palaganas and Eva Rodriguez Palaganas; his brothers, Ignacio Manuel Palaganas and Jose of Jesus Palaganas; and his sons, Benjamin R. "Buddy" Palaganas and Kevin Wayne Palaganas.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Palaganas; his children, Patricia Kennedy (Jimmy) of Watkinsville, GA, Dominica Humphries (Donald) of Cumming, GA, Michael Scott (Karen) of Mebane and Austin Scott (Gena) of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Hugh Jamison Kennedy (Taylor), Craig Anthony Kennedy and Hope Alia Palaganas; his stepgrandchildren, Ivey Scott, Avery Scott, Julia Scott, Matthew Scott and Kaylen Scott; and his sisters, Guadalupe Palaganas Gonzales, Carmen Maria Palaganas and Maria Palaganas.
