Barbara leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Barbara’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Barbara will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Chase and Lina Taylor Chase. She is survived by: her husband S. Gerald Forehand; her daughters, Beverly Forehand of Goldsboro, Marty Edwards of Goldsboro and Amy Bowen of Goldsboro; and her siblings, Delton "Dale" Chase of Pikeville and Virginia "Gaye" Byrd of Fremont. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
