She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas Guion, Sr. and Mary Louise Tripp Guion; her husband George James, III; her son-in-law Leslie Cox, Jr.; her brother William Thomas Guion, Jr.; and her brothers-in-law, Rudy Furman and Clifford Overton.
She is survived by: her children, Donna L. Cox and Kenny James (Michelle); her grandchildren, Aricia Cox-Bouzid (Hicham), Leslie Cox, III, Jeremiah James and Stephen James; her sisters, Janice Furman and Goldie Guion; and her sister-in-law Shirley Guion. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
