She is survived by: her siblings, James Lee Melvin of Navarre Beach, Florida, Teresa Melvin of Goldsboro and Rosa Melvin Frieson of Fayetteville; and her aunt Ruby Wilson of Goldsboro. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home (1220 N William St, Goldsboro, NC 27530). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery (3888 US-70, Goldsboro, NC 27530).
