Betty Merritt Limbaugh Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Betty Merritt Limbaugh of Goldsboro, North Carolina. Betty, born on March 15, 1941, passed away on September 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sudie McCandless Merritt and James Alton Merritt, Sr.; her husband James Limbaugh; her brother Tom McCandless; and her son-in-law J. E. Garner.
She is survived by: her children, Lib Garner, Jimmy Limbaugh and Michael Limbaugh (Betty Jean); her grandchildren, Derek Limbaugh (Caroline), Kristin Kissane (Sean), David, Samuel Limbaugh and Daniel Kissane; and her brother Buddy Merritt (LuJene). She is also survived by three beautiful great-grandchildren.
