He was loved and cherished by many people including his parents, Dora Ann Sydnor Hawkins of Owings, MD and Roy Hawkins; his wife Cecile Bailey Hawkins; his children, Rebecca Ann VanCise (Brandon) of Fort Mill, SC and Carl Bradley Hawkins, Jr. of Rock Hill, SC; his siblings, Debbie Garner of Hughesville, MD, Bobby Hawkins of Owings, MD and Roy Hawkins, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Braxton VanCise, Brinlee VanCise, Becca VanCise, and Ayden Hawkins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are given to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
