He is survived by: his wife Faye Best Cox; his sons, Randy Cox (Sherri) and Russ Cox; his grandchildren, Charley Cox (Daniel Wellons), Hinton Cox (Emilie Moss) and Payton Cox; his siblings, James Ray Cox (Karen) and Brenda Gurley (Wayne); his nibling Ashton Cox (Brittany); his great-nephew Eli; his nephew Jonathan Gurley (Kristen); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Troy and Gunner; and his niece Crystal Massengill (Jamie).
