He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Chester Johnson and Mildred Bass Johnson; his brother Daniel Johnson; and his pets, Ginger Johnson and Candy Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Christy Moore Johnson; his daughter Tammy Boyette (Mike); his granddaughter Jaz'lyn Moore-Parrish; his stepgrandsons, Matt Boyette, Christopher Boyette and Bryan David Boyette; his siblings, Eric Johnson (Gloria), Mary Kimes and Lorraine Leibensperger (Marc); and his sister-in-law June Johnson. He is also survived by two step great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Seymour Funeral Home (1300 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534).
