Sandi Morrisey wrote a sympathy message

“For several years, a group of us met at the Family Y at 5 am in the mornings. Through rain, snow, heat and cold. Mr. Charles was one of those, standing (or in his case sitting) outside of the Y, waiting for the doors to open. He was so nice, but he didn't mind discussing current events and giving his take on what was going on. I have missed him since the pandemic and now that I know he has passed on, I will continue to miss him even more. May God continue to bless his wife and family!”
