She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank McBarron and Hilda Jones Hare; her husband Charlie James Malpass; her sister Ramona Taylor; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Emma Williford and Linda Rose.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michele M. Cotton and Jennifer Malpass (Rachael); her grandchildren, Morgan Cotton (Ashley) and Anna Cotton (Johnathan); her siblings, Janet Hamm, Debbie Kennedy, GBo McBarron and Ricky Hare; and her pets, J. J., Tucker, Brodie and Dallas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Seymour Funeral Home (1300 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Willow Dale Cemetery (306 E Elm St, Goldsboro, NC 27530).
